A four-person HCI project exploring gamified healthy eating, with photo, voice and manual food logging.
Offer Three Food-Entry Methods
Provide photo, voice and manual food entry. The camera flow includes an unsuccessful-scan state with options to retry or enter food manually.
All five test participants completed the camera-input task in the prototype. The work demonstrates an interaction concept, rather than production AI recognition.
Testing exposed navigation and button-size issues that informed the team’s revisions.
I designed seven food-input screens, from the calorie overview through photo capture/results, manual entry/search and voice input. I also wrote the usability-test script.
